I don't remember a bunch of people here. I remember everyone who's left and the people I don't give two shits about. The pattern so far is the people I forgot are the ones I actually give a damn about.

What? Oh, no, no. Lincoln was working with you, and then I arrived and Lincoln and I are coworkers. We work for a version of the FBI that deals with crazy science, so the three of us were trying to figure things out around here. Sort of. Not a lot to find out as it happens.

That part I remember.

What now? We keep working together, or we call it a day now that Lincoln's gone?

If you want to keep working together that's fine with me, but I don't want to force you to work with me.
